Product and Delivery Terms and Conditions

Please read these product terms and conditions carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under the law and set out the terms under which we make the products available to you ("Product Terms").


Prices:

Please note that except as set out below the prices are guide prices only. The actual price you pay will be the price charged in-store at the time your order is picked for delivery. The actual order value cannot be determined until the day of dispatch because the prices stated on the website and app may vary either above or below the prices in-store on the day your order is picked, dispatched and delivered.

All prices are expressed inclusive of any VAT payable unless otherwise stated. The price of the items does not include the delivery charge which will be charged at the rate specified when you place your order.

Certain promotions available in stores may not be available online, and there may be promotions available online that you won’t be able to find in-store.

If for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we are unable to supply a particular item, we will not be liable to you. When an item you have ordered for home delivery or Pick Up is unavailable we will attempt to deliver a suitable substitute, unless you have asked us not to. We will confirm with you first before making any substitutes.

To ensure availability of all our products customers may be limited to a maximum number of items.


Acceptance:

Your order is an offer to buy from us. A contract is only formed when we have despatched your order. At any point up until then, we may decline to supply the goods to you.


Minimum basket charge for Local Delivery:

A minimum basket charge applies to Local delivery. For local delivery, if the value of the products in your basket when you confirm your order is less than the minimum basket value, then we will add a £5 charge to your order. We will add the charge to your total at the checkout page, before you pay. If you go back and change your order, so that the value of your order is greater than the minimum basket value, we will remove the charge.

The minimum basket value is £40 for grocery Local delivery. There is no minimum basket value for in store Pick Up orders.

Unfortunately we can’t combine separate orders once we have processed them, so please make sure you make any changes to increase the value of your basket before you confirm your order.

If we apply a minimum basket charge to your shop, we will not refund the minimum basket charge if only some of the items in your shop are refunded.


Delivery:

Delivery will be made to the address specified by you when you place your order.

For deliveries to a residential apartment block, we will generally deliver to the front door of your apartment. However, we reserve the right to deliver only to the main entrance of the property if the driver believes it is unsafe or not practical to deliver to your apartment front door.

For deliveries to a business address, delivery will only be made to the ground floor communal area/entrance.

Please note that we deliver only to specified regions within the United Kingdom. UK Mainland Delivery Only for Products delivered Nationwide and Only specific postcode areas for Local Delivery, please enter your postcode at checkout for Local Delivery to see if we cover your area for Local Delivery.

For Local delivery, times will be agreed with you after placing your order.

All goods must be received on delivery by an adult aged 18 years or over.

We follow a "Think 25" policy when delivering age-restricted items, so if the person receiving the goods looks under 25, proof of age will be requested. If proof is not available and there is no one of that age at the address when delivery is being made, the goods will be retained by the driver. If we attempt to deliver your order to the delivery address as arranged with you but there is nobody at the delivery address to accept your order, the driver will leave notification of attempted delivery and you will need to contact us to re-arrange delivery (see below for contact details).


For Nationwide Delivery, our courier may make more than one attempt to deliver your order, and if there is no answer or the address is inaccessible the courier will return your order back to us and we will cancel the order and issue a refund for the products. We reserve the right not to refund the postage costs if the courier was not able to deliver because there was no answer, address is inaccessible or there is a safety concern for the courier or the receiver.


Should you need the order again, a new order will need to be placed including the delivery costs.

Whilst we make every effort to deliver all your goods in the agreed time, we will not be liable if we fail to do so in part or in full due to circumstances beyond our control.

If any items from your order are out of stock, you will be notified, and your order will be adjusted accordingly.

If you choose to collect your order from our store, the time slot and store for collection will be agreed with you when you place your order.

Please note that you will be unable to collect your order earlier than the agreed time slot. Please speak with the member of our staff at the dedicated collection point who will be able to assist you.

Please bring your order number and an ID (we will not be able give you your order unless you produce an appropriate form of I.D.)


Returns and Refunds:


For Nationwide delivery, you may return your items within 14 days of delivery as long as they are in the same condition as delivered, unopened and unused, and packed the same way so they are returned to us safely, you will need to pay returns postage and provide a tracking number for the courier used.

You will be responsible for generating the return label online. Refunds will be processed after goods are received and inspected in our store.


For Local delivery and Pick Up you may refuse any items you don’t need and we’ll refund accordingly. If you change your mind after receiving the order you may bring the items back that you don’t need in the same condition, within 14 days of Pick up or Local delivery and we’ll refund accordingly. We’re not able to accept returns on chilled products after the order is complete unless there is a quality issue.

You must inspect your order upon delivery and ensure you are happy with your order. Any discrepancies, faults or damages, must be reported immediately upon delivery, local delivery or pick up, you may call us on our dedicated contact number, email or our contact form providing us much details as possible and we’ll do our best to resolve the issue.



Cancellation:

You can cancel or change any of your current orders up until the time they have been dispatched. We won’t be able to cancel the order after dispatch. Please note that orders cannot be cancelled by email.


Payment:

We accept the following payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Visa Debit, and debit cards. A payment will be requested upon checkout and the order must be paid in full before delivery or pick up.


Wine, Spirits and other alcohol beverages:

We work hard to make sure the ABV (alcohol by volume), vintage and award information is displayed online as accurately as possible. However, as we refresh stock constantly, changes can happen at any time, which may result in us supplying a different ABV and vintage.


General:

These Product Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Please note that food products are frequently reformulated, ingredients may change and manufacturers' data may be incorrect or incomplete.

The search results displayed will contain products that have been identified as not containing a specified allergen as an ingredient.

The products we sell have been collated by reviewing their ingredients list and any 'may contains labelling', so although they will not contain a specified allergen they may not have been produced under controlled conditions, so therefore we cannot guarantee they are suitable for a specific dietary need.
